Federal taxes filed :)

And refund of $4,583 is expected to be direct deposited on 2/1.

We are snowed in and there wasn't much to do last night, so I sat down and finished the federal. I got a bit bored and will continue with the state in the near future.

    Good job!
    I am still waiting to get all our statement stuff. Then I will plug it in to the computer and file fed and state at the same time. Easy and costs $10.

    What a nice refund! I hope that it leads to something extra-good for you to start the year off right. I always worry about whether or not we will get a refund, because one year we ended up owing and it really was a hardship. I'd definitely rather have some insurance of knowing that something will be coming back than to have to write a check!
