Do you notice that as you budget better that your number of NSDs increases?
Since I am only one week into the new budget system, I am finding that my spending is more deliberate and there are more NSDs.
I'm also being more deliberate on how I am spending my free time. Less time playing Pathwords on FB trying to outbeat my lawyer brother's ridiculously high score of 1630 (though he has played 762 rounds to achieve that).
Better time management and preparation for upcoming school projects has also alleviated unnecessary rush and drama.
I suppose all areas of my life were in need of some degree of maintenance and upkeep.
A NSD Question for you all

After reading 'Your Money or Your Life' and I started tracking all my spending, I started putting a smile on my sheet if I had a day of no spending. I got to where I hated to have a day without my smiley face! Goofy I know, but true!
Not sure if you're aware of her, and she's a little bossy, but flylady dot net is also really helpful for getting life together.

It's true that it is good to not spend money every day, but I can't help feel like I am cheating because I am still using electricity, still using my phone, cooking with gas, driving my insured car, living in my house etc etc.
